installing latest OS Custom ROM on Samsung Galaxy 4 tablet

I have a 4-5 yrs older Samsung Galaxy 4 tablet.
I was able to update it to Android 5.1.1. some time ago, but now I'am thinking of a more recent Custom Rom to update the tablet with the more recent features.
Is it possible ?
If so, how? Where do I download the latest Rom?

The forums at XDA-Developers.com would be a good resource for that kind of thing.

Can try XDA forums, but most devs probably abandoned that tablet and Android version.
