Insurance? Yes or No + if Yes, with who?

we have carrier insurance, my husband has cracked his phone screen on every phone he has had....even with a case and screen protector.

I'm pretty careful with my phones , use a good case and glass dome protector ..I figured if something happened I'll pay out my pocket to fix since I saved money not having insurance all these years

I hear ya, thats how I usually am, till that day I closed my hood on the car and cracked my screen because I left the phone on the fender area. lol

I have insurance through my AT&T plan. It covers whatever device I put on my account so I don't have to worry about it whenever I switch up devices.

Oh it did. I said many #&$@&#& words and had to pop the hood again and was like crap. That was on my note 9 too.

Does anyone have experience with CPS Central (Consumer Priority Service)? I was forwarded an insurance offer from them each time I purchased a phone from my eBay seller of choice (never-msrp.)

CPS charges $50 activation fee (first 3 months free), then $4/month, which you can cancel anytime. Each claim has a $75 deductible.

Well, I just filed an insurance claim.

When I'm sitting down on my sofa I tend to take the phone case off and use it without one. The phone just slipped through the crack, and when I raised the recliner mechanism to retrieve it, the metals pierced through the back of it and dug a hole on the back and cracked it. The front is fine.

I could have waited to file the claim I guess but I plan on jumping again next month to a different color, or maybe I'll try a different phone.

no insurance here. too cheap. always been lucky with my phones. the last time I dropped one it had an antenna and alltel fixed it :-) yep that long ago

Yes! It's a must to me. Even if I never use it. I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. I have insurance through my carrier, added to the bill.
