intercept issues

my wife's intercept is stuck in a rebooting/loading phase and won't advance past the black screen that reads samsung. i've tried pulling the battery multiple times, and can't get it to do anything but be a paper weight. anyone have suggestions, before i return the phone. i've also hooked up to the computer and still nothing.
 
pull out battery and reinsert it
Hold down the Vol down, Talk, and Power buttons at the same time until you enter recovery mode

try to do a factory restore
 
got it back to factory settings, however now every app or process stops and has to be forced closed any ideas or to the sprint store i should go
 
Thank you, I removed the sd card, took the battery out and reinstalled it and it finally rebooted all the way. You ROCK!! :) :)
