Interest in the Grid 10?

Saw this on Engadget the other day:

I actually think it looks really cool and may buy one. (After I read reviews of course) I like the design of the OS and I think it could be a big hit IF it does in fact play any android app without issue. Kinda pricey at $499 but worth a look I think.

Want does everyone else think about this?

Price was dropped to $299 last week for the 16GB Wi-Fi model. Not bad, but I would rather have a true android ROM developed for it.
