Interesting battery observation.

I recently purchased a device at Walmart that I plug into my car's cigarette lighter and it has three ports for adapters and a usb port. Driving to work (50 minutes) the last three days I plugged my phone into the usb port to "top it off". Normally my charge lasts about six to eight hours. After charging with this device the Incredible lasts the full twelve hour shift and still is in the green. I used to bump charge but now I'm noticing I don't need to because charging it on the way to work enables me to last through my shift. If this continues, I may start charging it in my car all the time.

Yeah, it's because for some reason charging it overnight with the phone on doesn't fully charge the phone. When I unplug it, my battery goes down to about 93% in MINUTES. If I let it sit for an hour or so and plug it in again, it will fully charge.

It's very annoying. I wish HTC would release a software update to fix this.
