Sorry, but your post is a bunch of nonsense. Apple and the iPhone are not in trouble. 8.75 million iPhones were sold last quarter, and that sales pace shows no signs of letting up. Just because you or I have a good handle on specs and appreciate the best-specced phone doesn't mean the market does; the average consumer doesn't give two ****s about whether they have the fastest processor. 2.2 is good, but it still bares all of the glaring flaws of Android. Matias Duarte should help, but it might be a while before we see any of those issues fixed. (and in the meantime, don't expect Apple to sit still)
Its actually funny you mention AT&T; want to know the reason why AT&T has been so 'generous' in their upgrade policy for iPhone 4? They're trying to lock-in customers before the imminent release of a non-AT&T iPhone.
