Interesting take on battery life

Has anyone figured out how to make this into an app for the non-programmers in the crowd? I'm up for trying it

The article says they are working on an app so we will see what comes of it.

Instead of all these stop gap measures, I wish everyone researching battery technology would just all work on newer battery technologies that charge in under a minute. It's been executed in a lab several times it just needs to be pushed at a faster pace. Then battery life would never be discussed again.
