I was having issues with my GPS not locking on to me and terrible wifi signal. I happened upon a thread over at the Verizon Community that suggested if you remove the battery door off you X it will fix that issue.
It does indeed work.
I have tested both with much success.
It seem there is a brass looking piece that wears on the battery door and makes it shiny in one spot on the top left. People have suggested putting a piece of paper there to stop it from shorting out. I colored mine with a sharpie and have had some success with improving both gps and wifi signal.
Hopefully this helps some of you out.
