Intermittent Text Notification Sound. This just started recently with the Android 11 update. Incoming notifications will vibrate and pop up but no sound even though sound settings are on. This is intermittent, will just start happening for no reason and then correct it self later. Anyody else experiencing this? I'm using Google Messages app.

Yes that happens to me as well. I'm using textra. I always thought it was an issue with bluetooth and pairing with different things (watch 3, car radio, etc). I have to hit the sound icon to disable it and enable it again multiple times a day. Really weird.

Welcome to Android Central! Just to be clear -- this isn't happening when you have the Google Messages app open to that thread, correct? Also, do you have Messages for Web open on any laptop or desktop at the same time?

Can try resetting the app, clear data and force stop it .

No app not even open and I haven't set up web messages. Running some tests with bluetooth and my watch 3 to see if this could be the problem. The watch and Galaxy wear app also had a big update recently, this might have something to do with it. I'll keep everyone posted.
