Could you post a screenshot of the Storage stats please?

I am going to admit, I am stumped. I have no problems with mine. Sprint by the way. Your carrier? Looks like Verizon?

Do you remember if the message says "Memory" or "Storage"?
Those are two completely different errors

i believe it was memory. i'll have to report back though to confirm the next time i see it.

When I get such a message then it's caused by ES File Explorer while updating/installing an app.

"Internal StorageSpace left: 1.87MB"

i do have ES file explorer and now that i think of it, it was when installing an app. thing is, when it says i only have 1.25 mb of internal storage space left, that is totally inaccurate. any idea why it does this?

Nope, did email the dev two weeks ago.
Said it's a check box about on ES's Settings, Display ...
But when unchecked the message is wrong all times and when checked the message is right sometimes and wrong sometimes ;)

Caught ES with the log app 'Notification History'.

great, thanks Adamsberg. i have it unchecked, so i'm guessing that is why it is wrong. might have to switch to a different file explorer.

I get the same message sometimes when I update apps via the Play Store. Not a big deal to me as long as it's not truly affecting the memory space so I'll keep ES Explorer.

Interesting. I've occasionally seen the same message. I've just been ignoring it, and it doesn't seem to cause any I'll effect. I have ES Explorer as well.

Got an update by ES, together with other app updates ... no messages any more :) (with option unchecked).
Next update I'll try with option checked.
