I have a Sony Xperia TL with an Internal Memory of 10GB. Recently it's been telling me to transfer date to an SD Card which I don't have on my phone because I feel 10GB is sufficient for me at the moment. This morning it told me my Internal Memory is 75% full. But when I checked the settings on my phone is said I still had 9GB of the 10GB free. Could someone help with this? Thanks!

That seems weird, since mathematically, you have about 56% of your memory free. (You probably have a 16GB internal memory, with about 6GB used for Android) Have you installed any apps recently? If so, one of them may be a rouge app, and I would uninstall it for a few days to see if you stop getting that message. What do you have on your phone that is taking up so much memory?

These are some photos of my Storage Date. The message I got about the 75% only happened once, specifically this morning. Could I have just read it wrong and it said 15%? I've installed a bunch of apps recently but none that require a lot of space. I just got Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, and the like. No games or anything RAM heavy. I'm not all too familiar with Android yet because I got my Xperia TL just a few weeks ago.

I just the notification again. It indeed says along the lines of "75% Full Please move to SC Card".

Can you keep that alert on your screen so that you can have your carrier look at it? That is the only thing I can think of for you to do. Because if you show them that, and then show them the screen that shows all your memory, they should be able to answer the question. Or, you can try this: Move all your pictures and videos, and your downloads off your phone to your computer. What may be happening is one of those files is being misread by your phone, and your phone is reacting to it. Take them off for a day or so, if you still get the alert, then it may be a bad music file, or something is truly wrong with the phone.
The only other thing I can think of is perhaps the cache of several of your apps is holding a lot of memory, but that also shouldn't be the case either, as it should tick down in your totals.

I will be honest, I am at a loss for an explaination.

same situation here with sony xperia z. phone left on over night and the next moring i had two warnings: first one saying 75% of internal memory is used, the second telling me 101% of intenal memory is used. checked free internal memory immediately and more than 10gb were free. happened only once until now and that's why i googled and found your posting ... one or two days before i updated es file explorer to version 3.0 but that's probably coincidence especially because your warning popped up long before file explorer 3.0 was available.
