Has any purchased an unlocked GS7 from Amazon; if you have how has the software updates been so far?

There are around 200+ different firmwares, both unbranded and lightly branded, for the Global model, G930F. The phone's Product Code determines which firmware it will receive, directly from Samsung.

Typically, the unbranded Global models will receive faster and more updates than, say, the U.S. carrier minority variants. For instance, the U.K. unbranded model is already on it's 3rd firmware update, PD3, (April 2016), with another in the pipeline. Compare this to the T-Mobile (USA) model which has received 2 updates since release and is on PC8, (March 2016).

My Verizon one is on pd2 and the may security update. Kernel build is April 21.
