International issues

Are there any major issues with using an N7 outside the first wave of markets? Obviously HBO to go won't work (VPN would fix that?), but what about Google Play and Amazon for example?

For one, US TV shows apparently can't be purchased outside the country.

Google Maps is unavailable offline for some (all?) regions outside North America. Brilliant - that is exactly the area I needed, where my GNex doesn't work.
