Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the international and the US version of the 6p? Thanks.

I originally bought a US version from B&H in March and just bought an International version from Expansys a few weeks ago. Here are the differences:

1.) International version comes with headphones.
2.) International version comes with wall charger not compatible with US outlets. They sent me an adaptor which isn't ideal and isn't very snug so it falls off which is annoying.
3.) International version has a serial number etched across the very bottom on the back of the device.

Both phones worked flawlessly once the SIM card went in. If I were to do it over again I wouldn't have bought the International version. To be honest, I didn't even realize it was until it showed up.

I too mistakenly bought the US version to use in Japan and found out it had much limited compatibility with the network bands used by carriers in Japan, so I sold it for less and got the international version after researching on there internet there difference between both. There international version has much more bands than the US version. If you leave outside the US, get the international version.

As nnthemperor found, the international version may be lacking some bands your carrier uses. The bands in the phone, and the bands of the 4 carriers are available online, so you can always check before buying.

They clearly show you before purchasing what the the bands are as well as compatibility from many countries and most individual carriers. I guess it depends where you purchase it.

From my understanding the US version has warranty, while the international version does not have a warranty in north america.

I just read on Amazon that for some reason, the international version is a bit slower. Is this true?

I was using a US version here in Italy until it was stolen. I replaced it with an international version. I am now able to get 4g speeds where the US version did not.
