Internet Connection Issue

There is a fine FiOS connection at the house which extends to the 10.1 (2014). The Note Pro connects easily with WiFi. The Note Pro shows there is a strong Internet connection. However, none of the applications that need access the Internet can 'see' the internet. There doesn't seem to be applications not working otherwise, just when they require net access. This has happened within the last month and has worked fine for the 18 months immediately preceding. Is this a settings issue or has an app caused this? Thanks for any help.

Check if the tablet isn't trying to use a proxy/VPN or if the modem isn't blocking the device (I don't think that's the case since you probably wouldn't be able to connect if it were). Have you tried 'forgetting' the connection on your tablet and setting it up again? Sometimes wonky settings like this can happen with some routers, especially if you connected the device using the WPS button.
