Internet or app crash to homescreen droid x

Every now and again when I am on the Internet or a random app my phone closes the Internet and goes to the homescreen is anyone else having this problem. Is there a fix to this or should I not worry about it since it is very random and far between. Or should I return the phone. Thanks

My discover channel app actually crashed today. i backed out of a video and the screen just went black. hit home multiple times before it actually went home. Then the phone was running insanely slow. turned the screen off and the phone just restared itself. I got a little worried but everything seems fine now.
