If you are on 4G or Wifi, then yes it should. 3G will always be a no with Verizon.

Unless you have a Thunderbolt which has an SVDO radio versus the normal EVDO. With SVDO, you can do simultaneous voice and data on 3G (thus the "S" in SVDO). I have no idea whether the Bionic will come with that radio or not.

As far as I know, that is an HTC only trick.... I've been wrong before, though.
