Intro, I have htc evo 4g & switching to shift.

Hey everyone my name is JaeeMorales, I'm new to this site & blogging, forums, etc. I live in Southern California. I'm currently using the HTC EVO 4G, I've had it for about a month & a couple days. got it for my birthday on November 25th. I like it a lot, did love it untill I saw that the EVO SHIFT is coming out, I know I'm gonna love that. I originally wanted the epic 4g after watching a lot of comparisons, reviews, etc. Between epic & evo, I wanted the epic because of the slide out qwerty keyboard & the humming bird processor. I knew the snapdragon wasn't as good, then I saw the price so I had to get the evo. Now that I know the EVO SHIFT is coming out I'm super super excited. Selling my current evo for $350 which is going toward the SHIFT & I also have to save up a extra 100 because I am not eligible for upgrade. I was gonna take the evo back to get my money back because the 30 days sprint gives you to return it for refund but I was to late. I'm not afraid of switching to the smaller screen cause I love the design & look of the EVO plus it has the keyboard which I ldont have to worry about a small virtual keyboard. If the SHIFT does have the front facing camera great! If it doesn't then that's ok, I only use it sometimes for self portraits so its all good. But hopefully they don't downgrade the camera with the dual LED flash. If anything make it even better! Or just keep it the same. Well yeah once I get the SHIFT ill post another thread on my thoughts & how much I love it because i know ill love it #TeamAndroid #iPhoneKilla! -Jaee

hey jaeemorales! hmm you sound like me. i had my heart set on the epic...and pretty much was leaning that way until maybe the last two weeks. had played with it in store a fewwwww times and fell in love. did all my research on it. i pretty much knew the phone inside and out butttt between the untimely OS updates and the issues with the GPS on the galaxy s devices (that's a big deal because i heavily use GPS on my phones), the only other thing i really loved was the keyboard. so i'm going to pick up the evo this weekend, and since the shift comes out in a couple of weeks, i'll go play with that in store when i get the chance and try to read up on it some more...within the 30 day "trial" period of my evo, i'll be able to decide whether to go with the shift or stick with the evo. so yes, please do come back and update us on your evo shift experience as well! i'm definitely interested!
