Newbie to the Android world, although have been boondoggling PC's sine the 8086 processor. Started with Dos, when Bill Gates was almost virtual, virtually. Now I prefer Chrome Google and Samsung, sorrowfully still having to deal with some of Microsoft difficulties. I have a curious daughter 13, and she helped me get here shortly after purchasing My Nexus 7, ( I just cannot deal with Apple, for some reason). Nevertheless she did not like my security Gesture and changed the Lock on my Nexus7 to a P_ssword that she promptly forgot. I had registered it to my gmail account, and had hoped that after the entrance of some 300 bogus passwords they woud ask for my account UN and Password. No such Luck. I had spent several hours finding apps that I used for school (documented purchases, and a couple of games, however had not fully backed up my new Nexus 7. I have tried a Factory reset, but get stuck on a Blamk page that says google for 30 minutes. whereby I convert it to a locked boot. Grouper is in Fastboot mode I have the SN, etc, but cannot get passed the google that pops up prior to the Red Triangle Android Fella. Stuck here. Saw something with regard to being plugged into my comp prior to starting the recovery mode, but still cannot get to Red triangle, or hopefully some way to keep from having to go through with a dreaded Factory reset. But I need it ASAP, so willing to be humble and ignorant in order to be taught. Please help.
