introducing myself, hello!

Hi, new here. Thought I'd introduce myself since the site keeps urging me to!

My name is not Alvin, despite my handle. I'm an architect and live in Manhattan with a boyfriend and a miniature schnauzer.

I've had an Optimus V on Virgin Mobile for a few months now. As this is my first Android, I am blown away by what I can do but I am fed up with the space issue and deciding which apps to uninstall so I can use another.

I mostly signed up to utilize mmarz's super-duper helpful reference guide to rooting the Optimus V. Another forum I peruse has an awful lot of useless or confusing posts. So, mmarz, thanks in advance.

This may become my go-to advice place.

Hello,thanks to all I really don't type or text much I need to have voice control everything.Anyway I would like to know if anyone knows someone or a site I can get my phone and Hp touchpad unlocked or hacked or even find step by step instructions how to do it myself would be appreciate it
