Just picked up a note 2 this morning and wanted to say hello to this section of the forums.

Quick question.

Hitting the unlock button feels like it takes forever to respond.

Hello and welcome. You picked a winner as far as phones go. I don't no what you consider forever but I swipe screen and it opens,, what is your doing?

Note 2, it's true, ,size is everything!

Like when I push the button it takes a bit for the screen to turn on.

My s3 didn't do that and I assume this one should be better riiiiiight?

Like a blink forever, or like i missed the bus waiting for my device to turn on forever?

like a cross between those two. my s3 was almost instantaneous so maybe I'm just spoiled and totally impatient.

Gonna pick up a buddy's verizon note 2 and see if it is any different tomorrow.

If it takes more than 2 seconds,, and that's being generous, then you have a problem.

Running ma7 4.1.2. It's not as noticeable now. And not as bad as I thought it was.
