So I got the Intuition back in February over the iPhone 5. Right now, I really regretting that decision. I have already been through two of these phones because they just freeze and say things such as Home is not responding or my text messaging. Theres times when i cant even call anyone, or when i do it merges the call into a conference call WITH THE SAME ONE PERSON. You cant even make calls over wifi, good luck. I am just so disappointed that this new phone is this bad and ive had three. Oh and also, it says scanning media files for days at a time, i cant even take pictures or look at them. Verizon wont even let me trade this in for a fricken flip phone, i just need something that works.

Have you done a factory reset, and then used the phone for a while without adding any apps? If not, try that, and see if it works OK without any 3rd party apps. If it does, one or more of your apps, or a combination of your apps, is causing the problem. Try reinstalling just a couple at a time, and use the phone for a day or two, until you start having problems again. It's probably related to one of the apps you just installed.

Issues with scanning media are generally a result of a bad SD card, a corrupted directory on the card, or corrupted media file(s) on either the SD card or internal storage. If you have an SD card, remove it and see what happens. If that solves it, backup the files to a computer, reformat the card, and copy your files back (maybe one folder at a time). If the problem recurs, you've got a bad file or files.

If removing the card doesn't solve it (or you don't have an SD card), copy all your media files to your computer, then deleted them all from internal storage and see what happens.

Must be a bum phone.. My intuition does not have those problems! Since you've gotten replacements its probably refurbished. Call & tell Verizon its not working properly!

I haven't had most of your problems. Maybe you are having some 3rd party app problems. That being said, I have had the scanning media files problem. That drives me crazy because it eats my battery. I do believe that is a common problem with the Intuition. I'm not sure, but I think it is caused when I send Bluetooth files to my phone. I have been able to get it to stop scanning for files. To do it, I go into the Settings, select Apps, then select Media and Stop. Then, I have "power off and restart" the phone. When I turn it back on, it does scan for files, but it stops after a few minutes. I also tried to set the phone so that it doesn't scan for media files when I turn it on. I can't remember how I did that, but it didn't stop the problem. This system has worked for me twice.

Just out of curiosity, do you send Bluetooth files to your phone? I'm just wondering if that really is what causes this scanning problem. I use to do it all the time and I didn't have any trouble. This problem didn't start until after the latest update.
