My phone (galaxy S5) worked very well with my carrier (Videotron). I had a problem connecting to the data so I called videotron and they told me to come in the store to fix it. Not really knowing what i was doing and being a little bit impatient I was looking through the settings of my phone, trying to figure out what was the problem, when I found the Activate this device tab. I then proceeded to clear my "cellular data'' by pressing the 3 dots on the top right corner. After this, it said ''invalid SIM card'' and I've reset de device twice, went to the videotron store, contacted Samsung. Still no solution. Please help!!!

Welcome to Android Central! What happens if you remove the SIM, then reinsert it?

Yes, still no valid SIM. There is no APN's because the SIM is not considered valid by the phone

Weird. How about reinstalling the firmware using Samsung Smart Switch?
