I just came from the Note 8 and got my S9+ and went straight to Zagg to get the Elite Glass and the guy tried applying 3 of them and none would stick to the edge! The note 8 version never came out to stores due to issues as well. With that being said, what Glass do y'all recommend that will stick completely to the screen without touch sensitivity issues or dust sticking on the edges. I need one asap cause this is my first phone I'm using without a glass from the moment I buy it.

Hands down white stone glass. A little expensive but it works really well and with a lot of cases too

Just use the sensitivity setting on the phone and you should be Ok. I have one and it's pretty decent. No popping as of yet. Best of all, it's pretty cheap

Supposedly there was a hold sale put on these at Verizon. I went in to buy one today, and even though they had a stack of them they couldn’t sell them. They were able to sell the regular S9 ones though, so could just be related to the size of the phone.

I gave up on glass type protector shield a while ago for my s8 as they tended to fall away.

I now use the official Samsung Film type screen protector which comes as a pack of 2 and do not feel overly plastic to the touch.

Is it just me, or is it a little weird that every phone makes touts how light and then their phone is; And then a lot of us add a case and/or screen protector that adds weight and some thickness... Seems to me like the phone should come "ready to carry" and not need added stuff.

I have Techmatte's amFilm Tempered Glass screen protector on my S9. Also available for the S9+. I am very happy with it! It has been on a week now and nothing has lifted. It sticks. No bubbles either. This protector comes with a applicator guide that makes it foolproof to put on. So easy as the guide does the alignment for you! And it was one of the screen protectors recommended Android Central as one of the top ten.

I got my Note 8 Curve Elite from a Zagg store and they installed it. It's perfect as far as I can tell.

I have a fairly high level of OCD lol
Found that (if installed correctly) the Whitestone Domed glass is great - touch sensitivity & clarity is like nothing is there. The only thing that let's you know it is there is the cut out for the speaker & camera (that does kinda bother me & shouldn't lol)

I have not had great luck with Zagg but i use the OTAO on my S9 and had it on my S8...so far so good...also i have heard many folks are going back to the old style protector and not the glass one and are having more luck...seems like someone will get it right but until then it is either Whitestone, OTAO, old style or just patience until another one comes out, good luck...

Whitestone Dome Glass is the exception. Best screen protector I've ever used. There's no dot matrix and the adhesive is on the whole thing rather than just the edges. It's a liquid install but different than other liquid installs, and the edges don't bubble or raise up at all.

Agreed,i like to upgrade often so being able to get the most for resale is important to me and having no scratches makes a difference, if not for this i would not use a case at all and often do not when i am at my desk....

As long as it's not cracked, personally I'll take a little hit on resale value for using it without case and most definitely screen protector (hate them and haven't used in years).

With Apple, I use the apple upgrade program so never bother about scratches. With Android phones yeah little tricky but generally I price it little lower based on condition and have no problem selling. It's just a trade off for me, use it without a case for a little hit on resale value or get max resale value. Personally, I'm ok
