I just got my Samsung Infuse a few days ago and I've been trying to find a good case/screen protector combo. First I bought a case with a built in screen protector but it made the screen quality horrible so I took it back. The only clear screen protector I could find in the whole city was an Invisible Shield.

I installed it last night and it went well but today I'm noticing little horizontal lines on the screen. I found a few other people on the internet complaining about this same problem. So I'm wondering, is there another brand that offers the same protection without the pesky little lines? I can learn to live with them for the sake of protection, but if there is a way to avoid them it would be awesome. The picture quality on this phone is amazing, and I'd like to keep it that way. ;)

I bought the "moshi" i Visor AG screen protector because it was the only one available at the store at the time. The pros are that it seems very tough and it's easy to remove and reapply.
The cons are that it takes away from the beautiful screen. When it's on the phone and the screen is in sleep mode (black), it is very apparent that it has a screen protector as it has a grayish cloudy look to it. When the screen is on, most of it goes away. But not all. And thats a bummer. To me it's a trade off, and considering how deep I had to dig to buy my phone, I'll keep it on until a better one comes along. Oh, and did I mention that it was ridiculously expensive? $24.99. It does not, however, have little horizontal lines. ;)

I purchased a full body Naked Shield that protects the entire body of the phone [back, front, sides]. Comes with >3 pcs. It costs ~$5 on eBay.

Still waiting for it to come in but friends of mine with iPhone4s were satisfied with this technology: Protection without the sacrifice of the original look of the phone.

I wouldnt recommend a screen protector. The phone is made with Gorilla Glass and Super Amoled Plus. So Im pretty sure any screen protector you install is going to take away from the effect of the screen. Its not easy to scratch and the touch responsiveness might give you troubles with a protector on the screen. In all reality, its not needed. Just be careful not to extremely ding the screen. All the phones ive owned with Gorilla Glass I never had a protector on it. I take care of the phones I own, so I never got any scratches though either. Each user will vary.

I totally agree. I have mine in a CaseMate Pop ... in preparation for the day that I inevitably drop my phone :( But I go with a naked screen. The Gorilla Glass is VERY strong -- though not indestructible. I just always designate a pocket in the pants that I am wearing as PHONE ONLY (no change, no keys, etc.). I also am careful not to put the phone up to my face if I am still salty from surfing or swimming. As I live in Hawaii, we're always in or near the ocean and I do fear that salt crystals could scratch the screen if they are rubbed against it. But I'm sure this salt-free only "rule" will fall by the wayside after a couple months and I get sloppy. :p
