invisibleSHIELD Cyber Monday Sale

I've never used a screen protector or case for a phone but I am considering using one on my GN. Has anyone used invisibleSHIELD screen protectors before? Are they worth $7.50?

I have used them, and I think they are worth $7.50, but I am pretty easy on my phone. My hubby works construction, so his take a beating, and he has to replace more often. I thought I read lifetime replacement if necessary, but not sure.

+1 on the Invixible Shields. I've had one on my 2-year-old Samsung Rogue, and the display is still perfect. I'm not exactly kind to my phones either - this one has spent a lot of time in the same pocket as my car keys.

No, they aren't worth it. They have worse orange peel effect than any other protectors, and are more expensive than most.

If you want to drop some cash on a really nice protector, and don't mind dry-application, wait until Steinheil releases the Crystal protector for the Nexus. They have the best feel/clarity by far. Link

If you have to get something now, go with Skinomi. Same material as Zagg, but much cheaper on Amazon. Link

If you want the best all-around (in my opinion), wait until Phantom Skinz releases their Galaxy Nexus protectors. I've had the same one on my Droid Incredible since 2 weeks after launch day a year and a half ago, and it's still perfect. It has the least orange peel effect of all the wet application protectors, and is significantly less tacky than the Zagg/Skinomi material. They also last longer than dry application protectors. Link

Edit: Just FYI, I bought at least 2 of every protector mentioned above, as well as a couple others. I hated every one of them except the Steinheil and the Phantom Skinz. The Steinheil was not durable enough for me, though.

Edit 2: Added the websites for the Google-handicapped

I went back to a Verizon one, seems to be doing pretty well, but i will definitely check out your links. Want the best for my nexus.

I thought about getting one (with how nicked up the plastic is on my dinc, i feel like I at least need one for the back - I've been very outspoken about how unnecessary they are for glass screens) but i'm really worried the ones that are available now wont fit the slightly larger Verizon version. so i'm going to wait till I know for sure. Also don't want anything that feels sticky, I hate that, and zagg is the worst for it.

This is a great deal for Invisible Shield lovers! I'm tempted to order one for backup in case the Skinomi experiment doesn't go well.

I found this thread from Pre Central helpful when trying to decide whether to continue using Zagg products or switch to another brand:

The Invisible Shield offers great protection but I don't like the feel of it. I'm gonna make the switch to Skinomi and see how it goes.

I've also been looking at this case, which comes with a screen protector. However, I'm not sure what the quality of the screen protector, or even the case, is.
