So i took the plunge and purchased the One as my first non iphone but have a question that hopefully more experienced users can assist with. When viewing full non-mobile websites with videos on ios devices a play symbol appears that opens the video (or live stream) up. With the one either nothing appears or it prompts you to install flash to play. Is running flash required or is there a work around for this that android users have been using (different browser or a setting I am not aware of?) I feel like flash videos kill my battery.

Also, more important for me are Twitter notifications. On my iphone i can have them pop up on my lock screen and i also get an audible alert if I want. I've been trying to figure out how to get this on my One but have had no luck. Missing tweets and DMs is getting kind of annoying not sure if this is an app issue or an HTC one/android thing and would appreciate some feedback from those who have other devices as basically everyone i know who uses twitter is an iPhone user. thanks

If the website uses flash videos, there's no workaround other than to use flash on your phone. Like iOS, Android no longer officially support flash. However, if you install the Firefox browser (I'm sure others work, too, but Firefox is the one I've tested), then download and install Flash from Adobe's site, you'll be able to view flash videos on your phone.

Can't help you with Twitter, I'm afraid.
