Iphone 5 usb plug to htc one

I have an old ipod stereo docking station with the 30 pin and i dont have an iphone anymore since i went with HTC ONE obviously. I was wondering if i purchased the 30 pin to iphone 5 usb adaptar, would that micro usb work with the HTC one so i could play music through the docking station via HTC ONE. Thanks

I don't think so. I bought a 30 pin Bluetooth receiver and connect via that. Cost about 6 pound off Amazon. Docking station needs to provide power (it would charge the iPhone)

This means the docking station now works with all my phone s. And ipads.

Does your dock have a place for an audio cable? Because I have one for use with my iPod dock and it works great. It just plugs into your phones jack, and into your docks.
