Virtually every review I've read of the HTC One contains comments by Apple trolls claiming the whole design and build of the One is simply a ripoff of the iPhone.

HTC One, 'nuff said. Its anodized aluminum body makes it even more durable than the iPhone 5. Shame that the latter is considered a "flagship" if it's the only iteration of the newest generation iPhone available. Don't even get me STARTED on how delicate it is.....

The iPhone 5 is better then the S3 for drops, so the S3 is even MORE fragile.

The HTC One.
I like them both.
The One has the higher resolution and larger screen, more customization, better camera features, and I prefer the build construction. It feels thinner and more dense.

I had the choice of getting an iPhone 5 or HTC but I went with the HTC. I actually didn't learn until I opened it that it came with free beats. I also did my homework on both phones only to find out the iPhone 5 just is a tad faster, has better resolution and had better colors/animations. Apple once again brought nothing innovative to the table. The iPhone 5 is the same device except it is longer. People still buy it because it markets better and the brand is more popular. If more people looked into the software rather than the looks/brand name, the iPhone would be dead. Seriously. The iPhone can get away with it apparently because they were the "first." While the HTC has its hand full of problems, it brought something new to the table. The news feed, the panels and customization through HTC sense was very nice when I looked at it. The screen was much bigger so it strained my eyes less. The speakers were amazing in store and the feeling of holding it felt like heaven. It brought so much, and I really think HTC is going to make a comeback and possibly reclaim the Android throne from Samsung.

Weren't HTC the ones who made the first metal phone, Apart from first Android phone.
