Which one do you prefer and why?

This will be a good topic. I just started to use Samsung Wallet & I will be interested to see what our members think.

Samsung wallet integrates nicely with my Samsung watch.

I prefer Samsung Wallet just because I started using it a long time ago and kept using it. If I started with Google Pay instead, I'd probably feel the same way about it.

I just started using Google Wallet when we bought our Pixel 9 Pro XLs. Never tried Samsung. I am sure both are equally good.

I’ve always used the Google wallet so that is what I prefer on all my phones except my iPhone lol which of course I use Apple Pay

I imagine if you're outside the US, Samsung Wallet would be excellent. I used Samsung for years. However, I have 3 cards/financial institution accounts that don't support Samsung but are all in with Google.

I never really thought of that, but it makes sense. Not all institutions support Samsung,? I am sure most if not all support Apple and Google ...at least in North America.

You can initiate a Samsung wallet with a swipe, then choose the card, and then authenticate to pay, which is great. Does Google Wallet work the same on samsung phones?

Also, do any of them support location based services (notification to use the stored gift card at the store)?

For the first part Google wallet all I do is make sure my phone is unlocked and place next to the pay icon.. I mainly use it at the gas pump

I use the side key to launch Google Wallet if I want to use a card that is not my default....just scroll through your cards to select.
