iPhone 7 pre-order date

I find it strange that the iPhone 7 was available for preorder the same day the CSPA decided to pursue the full recall on the note 7.

I know apple spends a lot of $ on lobbying so i shouldn't be surprised.

I'm not sure of course that this is the case but i wouldn't be surprised to see a lobbyist in Washington kind of "stoking the fire" a little. Putting pressure on them to go ahead and do it. These days political agendas are everywhere. Especially when there is money involved.

That's true. I just thought the timing was very eye-catching at the least.

I don't think so. It's Samsung's fault. It was their responsibility to engage with the government for an official recall. They put that off hoping to be able to use their own "program" but now they figure out they can't get the phones off the street themselves so now they engage the gov. So it's the way they decided to handle the process. And the replacements were going back out to people who already had notes. Not people who don't have one and may want the iPhone. People who ordered notes last month knew the iPhone was coming out this month. They got the phone they wanted. If anyone decided to change its because of Samsung's own doing. Not because of recall timing.
