iPhone data tethering to N7

I've been tethering my 4s 3g to my n7 over bluetooth but the connection basically drops every 30 minutes and is very slow. This is becoming annoying on my hour long daily bus commutes. Any recommendations? Would I have this problem if I had an LTE android phone?

Im not familiar with the tethering setup on the iPhone, but is it possible to tether over wifi instead of bluetooth? That might help.

Seems to be working a lot better over WiFi rather than Bluetooth thanks. Can anyone confirm that tethering would work better with an android phone instead of an iPhone ?

Through wifi they should be about the same honestly.

Maybe one gets better battery life?
