I went from the iPhone 7 to the Samsung 8+. iOS seems more steady with certain tasks, but the S8+ is generally more speedier at opening apps. Also, the customization on Android is leagues ahead of iOS, which is very important to me since I appreciate art, design, and tweaking my home screen. Furthermore, having the 18:9 aspect ratio alongside with the Amoled display is great for me as I use my device for media comsumption 80% of the time. So, all in all, this phone is a 10 in my book while the iPhone hovers around an 8.5. The only advantage it has is it's a bit more stable/less jittery and Apple's customer service is great.
