iPhone True Multi-tasking

No not really...... iOS has changed a lot from iOS 2.0 to 6.0

On the Android side of things, we're used to drastic improvements in the look and feel of things, in addition to feature improvements. From that vantage, iOS always looks like iOS and the features are currently behind. This is a huge difference, because on Froyo Android was still trying to catch up to iOS on features and mainstream usability and now wince Ice Cream Sandwich the roles are reversed and, in my opinion, Android is vastly superior in terms of total functionality (although I'd argue Apple is still easier to use for brand new smartphone users). I believe iOS could use a visual update in addition to future features and that would help their perception, but I'm also really hoping they jump leaps and bounds ahead on the next version so we can keep raising the bar in both systems.

I agree with this a lot I think in fact most people don't even know what they want in he next iOS update most likely a UI change and some obvious features like status bar icons.

Thank you I didn't have to type all that. 2.0-6.0 compared to Froyo-JellyBean are not even comparable in my personal opinion. Android has shown Growth while Apple has essentially held on to key features and introduced them as monumental improvements. Remember the copy and paste commercials lol. That was laughable but people drooled over it. I was baffled. Like am I the only person in the world seeing this. It's copy and paste what in the heck. Siri awesome Google Now makes Siri look like well an inconsistent annoyance. Which at the end of the day isn't practical on iOS. Still very beta.

Hence why it was labeled beta.
And dont forget without Siri=no google now.

Not sure if that is true. More like no Google Voice Search no Siri. Siri definitely came from somewhere, and it wasn't from Apples miraculous idea chamber I promise.

LOL, true.

I know.... It was from an app in the App store.

LoL. Agree to disagree. I say Apple saw the advancements Google was making with search and decided to one up them. But once Google decided to strike back they blew Apple clean out of the water.

Ahhh, gotcha, right now i'm in a bad mood(personal reasons) so I'm just gonna step away from this thread or a while.

Good luck bud. It's April fools you could be tricking yourself and really be in a good mood. Hope you feel better nice talking to you.

Actually siri came from verizon. It was originally intended as a unique feature for their Android phones to attract people to buy them (until apple bought it). It had a lot more features when verizon had it as well. And it was out before vlingo. Apple watered it down.

They are releasing features slowly.

as for the original topic...some apps freeze and some don't. With dropbox I can continue uploading photos while doing something else like playing a game. For the web browser when I click on a different web page and hurry close it out before loading...it loads in the background but when you click the safari tab you'll see the old page for a milli sec and but the new page would be fully loaded. So it's pretty much games that are in a frozen state which is not a big problem.
