iphone5 benchmarks...impressive

thats pretty old man. other benchmarks have shown it to be slower than the s3 but faster than nexus7.
does anyone have Geekbench app (aparently thats what test those results are based on) to run a test? i dont wana pay for it.
EDIT: it is the quad core s3 which im pretty sure is faster than nexus7.

global s3, UK. Ask me anything and ill reply even if its just an intelligent (or crazy) guess ;)

You know what I'd like to know........

........if I went into an Apple dedicated site and started a thread that said, "Samsung Galaxy S3 pretty damn powerful!", how would I be received??

You would be flamed out of existence...

but actually there seems to be a lot of pro-Android people that post on Apple sites. Apple sites are relative war zones in comparison to Android sites.

If you ever want some amusement... goto CNET and read the comments on any article that relates to Android or Apple. There will literally be like a hundred comments on an article!

I've seen that LOL. Not sure if it was CNet but I read some other article about Apple and catching up to features other phones have had for years. The article seemed fairly non-biased and did mention bonuses on the Apple side and man the comments were like the author himself killed Steve Jobs. It's always, "This article is so fail and the author is such an Android fanboy!" type stuff.

Rev.

its almost like apple people feel that theyr part of a tribe whereas android people feel more like indeviduals

These benchmarks mean nothing until I see an article that uses non-speculated figures which all these stats are based off of and also compared to the NA spec dual core S3 which I have. Regardless of which phone is ultimately faster I'm still far happier that I didn't get the iP5 over my S3 for many many reasons, screen and expandable storage being the biggest two.

The iPhone always looks pretty good on release day, then they lag behind for 12-18 months - as evidenced by the abysmal numbers of the iPhone 4 vs. several devices that have been out for quite a while.

That said, I don't get caught up in benchmarks. Instead, I judge a phone based on perception. I turn it on, swipe through screens, and use tons of applications throughout the day. It's as fast as I can imagine with no visible delay to the naked eye. So, from my vantage point, those results don't mean much.

Typical Apple drone.

Also those benchmarks are most likely fake. I've seen others that actually have an article to them and they say the S3 performed better than the iPhone 5.

But I'll wait and see as I might get an S3 on my next upgrade.

woooooah nevermind my people
