iPhoto access

My business partner and me both have Incredibles. Just switched from iPhones. When I connect my phone to my laptop, it opens in iPhoto and gives me the option of importing phone pics to the laptop. My partner's phone, when I try the same thing, will not connect to iPhoto. Is there some phone setting I'm missing?

make sure you both have the correct driver, and debug mode is off on your phones
