ir blaster issue

It's not working with my x1 xfinity top box. I see a green light every time I press the power option during set up but it doesn't actually operate the box. It does however change the channel..

I have the X1, and it is controlled fine. I only wish I could combine the TV volume controls.

What is the make & model?
