Does anyone know of an app that can learn a remote? I used to have a universal remote that you could point one remote at the other and when you pressed the button the universal remote would learn the other remote.

Since the Note has an IR it would be cool if this would work so you could build a remote. My thought is i have an old Robosapien robot thT is controlled by an IR remote and i could use my note to control it.

Thanks for any help on this.

Try just using the Peel app. It is literally takes seconds to set up. Even if you have multiple media components routed through, say the sound system, you can still set it up quickly. Don't get too dumbed down with depending on upon apps to do things that you can do yourself. Just to be clear that I am not trying to offend you or app developers but I think that we have become to dependent upon apps that try to do the more routine or basic thinking skills.

Not sure what you are getting at. Not trying to be lazy, just trying to see if this robot can be controlled using the tablet instead of it's remote. Peel wont work because the robot is ot a media device and isnt made by one of the manufactures that Peel lists. It is made by a toy company called WowWee. It has about 67 moves that it can do and you can program a series of sequences into it using the ir remote. Thought it would be fun to control it with my tablet.
