I am very surprised on how fast the iris scanner is.

However I am wondering the impact on the battery. That light and cámara gas to have an impact.

Why not measure it and report back with your results? With the phone idle, compare the battery drain over half an hour with iris scanning enabled to half an hour with it disabled. To minimize background variation, you could try booting into safe mode for the experiment (though I'm not certain whether iris scanning works in safe mode).

The iris sensor is rarely on. You can see the red light when the sensor is active.
Right so I don't see why it would use significant battery. The fingerprint sensor might use more since it can unlock the phone without touching the screen.
