Which performs better the Iris or Face security login, if one wears eyeglasses during daytime?
Then at night at bedtime, I take them off to use phone.
Do you set up Face ID with eyeglass on or off?
Do you set up Iris ID with eyeglass on or off?

I've found Iris ID to work best for me. I set it up without glasses and have had no issues with my glasses on.

I had been using PIN for years on all my devices and just set up the iris tonight (my Note 8 is the first device I've had with this option). I wear glasses and followed the instructions which say to set it up with glasses off. Works perfectly every time with my glasses on. It even works in total darkness, which surprises me. It sure beats typing in a PIN all the time.

I use the iris set up was so quick. It works for me in all situations, night, sunlight, sunglasses the mirror kind, indoors, outdoors. It works so well and fast that I had 2 people see if they could use it because I thought maybe it just opened my phone but they couldn't get it to work. I'm amazed at how well it works.

Big fan of the iris scanner. I have a pin, and I did set up the fingerprint sensor but it's an awkward way to open it for me. The iris scanner works fine, fast and efficient without glasses in daylight, a little slower in the dark sometimes, and occasionally it misreads when I have glasses on but mostly it just works.

I am a big fan of the Iris scanner.

It works 99.9% of the time, unless I am outdoors in bright sun.
