Thinking about buying a VZ GN for $300. Used for a week. Still has original box and screen protectors on the phone. What do you think? I have an upgrade coming next week but I'm thinking this might be fun for a while and I get rid if my iPhone.

$300 seems a little high.
There are used ones on ebay with more accessories going for around $200. Brand new ones are going for about $300

I would try to talk the guy down to $200

The Gnex is still a great phone and will last you until you want to use your upgrade on the latest android hotness of your choosing.

Good Luck

I got mine on ebay for 190. 3 batteries 5 cases 2 chargers included. Phone is mint just takes some patience to snag a deal but this phone is definitely worth it I love this thing

I'm watching a couple of them on eBay. I talked them down to $275. But I can get a new Maxx hd for $300. I would have to use my upgrade. Decisions. Decisions. This would be my first android phone. Thanks for all your help.

got mine on Ebay a few months ago right after Jelly Bean roms were starting to be produced for it. Paid about 330..thing was mint as well, 2 screen protectors and bigger battery along with stock. I would try talking him down also. Also remember though that if you use your upgrade, you lose your unlimited data (if thats what you have at the moment)

I picked a mint galaxy nexus up on eBay in original box with unused accessories a month ago for $230 shipped. I would say the $200 mark is good to shoot for.

If you have an upgrade and 300$ AND are not scared to unlock and root and flash a rom I say go for that Maxx HD OR wait for the HTC 5 incher that's probably gonna come to vzw I love my Gnex but that maxx HD and the HTC J are looking mighty fine

I chose the GNex off eBay to:
- keep unlimited data + 4g
- stay off contract
- unlike Motorola, it will get updates
- I had Moto Droids for 2 years and found the reliability is terrible. My GNex is more stable than any of my Droids ever were.
- Moto is bloated with crapware and Motoblur

Re: Who got it?

I got it yesterday and is it just great!! I appreciate all the help everyone gave on this forum.
