Is 300mA of charging normal? Slow charging S4.

I've had a S4 for a year and a half, and it's recently started charging unusually slowly. I installed CurrentWidget, and it says that I'm charging at only 300mA when plugged into wall power. Is that normal? I had it plugged in for 6 hours overnight and added only about 50% to the total battery charge. When I unplug the phone, CurrentWidget reads 460mA.

What's my next step to get back to a healthy charging rate?

Welcome to Android Central! When you're plugged into a wall outlet, does the Settings>Battery screen (or CurrentWidget) say you're on AC or USB? If it says USB, then it's possible the charging plug, cable or port are faulty, and only drawing current as if it were from a USB port (which delivers far less current than a wall outlet). The first thing to try would be a different cable/plug.

Settings>Battery says AC when I'm connected to a wall, so that's good. I borrowed an LG charger from my wife's phone and got 880mA instantly - I'll monitor it and see if it stays in that range, but that's almost a 3-fold improvement!
