Is 360 Security Qihoo a virus or trogen

Since installing this free app off of Google Play store my HTC phone will say timeout on the App store and I cannot get into my bank app anymore. What do I do to uninstall this horrible app? It has no uninstall button.

Welcome to Android Central! It has >4 million downloads on Google Play, so I doubt it's malware. It may be that it's just not entirely compatible with your phone, or that you have some other app that is causing a conflict.

To uninstall, first go to Settings>Security>Device Administrator. If you see 360 Security there, uncheck it first. Then open Google Play Store, swipe in from the left, tap My Apps, then locate 360 Security. Tap it, and tap Uninstall.

Of course, it's not a virus, the name is SECURITY. I wonder how it influence your bank app

But then again, just because it's called a "security" app doesn't make it so. There are plenty of malicious apps out there disguised as security apps. But in this case, the >4 million installations and generally high marks in the reviews makes it much less likely to be malicious.
