I have plenty of phones but was wondering if a Samsung Certified Re-Newed Note 10+ at the title-mentioned price would be worth picking up just as a beater phone. It would have a brand new battery. Is the Android 12 performance decent?

No, I am not worried about updates on this device as I believe there won't be any. I'm just wondering if it will be better than the refurbished Note 9 I have and worth it.

Yes. I got one for $400 a few months back and don't regret it. I got it strictly for emulation, and in that area, it doesn't disappoint.

Kahool. I'm gonna trade in my Note 9 towards it. I'll line that up next week.

Yes. This is the Note 10+ that I have. Everything works perfectly on it. I paid 260 dollars for mine awhile back. I don't really notice much difference between Android 12 and 11 to be honest. I got my N10+ this way last year for 700.. And then when my device got screwed up, I traded it in and got another one since they were offering 400 if you traded in another N10+. They also say they are new batteries in the devices, but honestly, the battery on the N10+ for me is garbage. Even when I tweak my settings like brightness, resolution etc, I still only get about 4 hours of screen on time. That ain't that great. Luckily it recharges very quickly with the 45 watt charger.

I highly recommend Samsung certified refurbished over any other used/refurbed devices in terms of quality. You won't get software updates, but the Note 10+ will still get security patches for the next almost 1.5 years, so that's pretty long.
