I have a Samsung watch 3 45mm

Is the screen easy to scratch ?

Would a glass protector reduce responsiveness of the screen ?

Would it make the bezel more difficult to turn ?

I use one and have on others. I think it helps, you hit your arms on things all the time. I don't notice any response issues.

Don't know how easy to scratch, but I don't want to take the chance. This watch is too expensive to risk it.

I found no change in responsiveness. In fact, it seems easier to use since the plastic based screen protector seems to glide smoother with your finger as opposed to the glass screen.

Does not affect the bezel at all.

I have glass. I prefer the glass. Like other said, personal preference there. This is what I have, super easy to put on, can't even tell it is on, sometimes you can see the edges of the protector, can't on this one.

I have owned a lot of Spigen cases and screen protectors over the years, so they'd be towards the top of my list - more so with an actual user impression such as you've provided. But....

41mm version sold by Spigen on Amazon: $11.99
41mm version sold by Spigen at Spigen.com: $29.99

45mm version sold by Spigen on Amazon: Unavailable
45mm version sold by Spigen at Spigen.com: $29.99

Naturally I have the 45mm version of the watch (or will, at delivery today). Just can't see spending 2.5x the price to get it from their site directly (or, much less, see how they justify such a huge difference in price).

I put in a ticket with Spigen to see if they'll match their own pricing (oh, the irony!)

How this turn out? Just curious, why not just buy it off Amazon? It's sold by spigen.

As I'd mentioned, the 45mm version sold by Spigen on Amazon was unavailable at the time, so that wasn't an option. Spigen did actually respond, wherein they refused to match their own $11.99 price citing the following: "Because Amazon is a competitive site, the prices are discounted and adjusted based on a daily market review." At least in this case this was total BS, as their Amazon price hasn't budged one penny since it was first released.

I know Spigen pretty much always makes a great product - that and the service has kept them at the top of my go-to list for a wide variety of products for about 6 years now, with my being willing to pay a small premium over other brands. But this felt a bit like a slap in the face.

I wanted to get a protector installed ASAP. With the Spigen unavailable at the time from them on Amazon and my refusing to pay an $18 surcharge on what they themselves normally sell as a $12 product for the 'honor' of buying it from them at their home site (which is already more profitable for them, as they avoid Amazon's surcharges), I ended up buying this one instead (3-pack for $6.99) and, while I haven't tried the Spigen to be able to directly compare, can't find anything I would improve on it. All of about 5 seconds to install. I've had it on for about 3 weeks now and it is as crystal clear/smudge-free/undetectable as it was on day 1, so while I won't assert that the Spigen can't be better, I don't see how it could.

Really, about 99% of these screen protectors and similar accessories come from the same manufacturer. Very little or no difference in quality. Spigen just marks it up more because they consider themselves a "name" brand. The only thing they may add is nicer packaging and support (instruction, etc) literature, and tools for installation, like a spray bottle of fluid and a plastic card to work out bubbles. They also control how much product they release to Amazon, so they can maximize revenue.

Spigen tool was like the dome screen protector, it installed it nicely. I agree, they all do the same job in the end. This one was although the first watch screen protector that I can hardly tell it's there by looking at it, it was a nice tight for, no gaps at all on the sides. My other screen protectors on other watches I could always tell one was on there looking at it, so I like that.

I do not see a need for a screen protector on watches. I have hit cinder block walls and bricks and have yet to get a scratch. The only way I would get a screen protector is to hide scratches

I've used a screen protector since the original Galaxy Gear watch. When I got the Gear S2 I went with ballistic glass. I have never noticed even the slightest impact on touch sensitivity and when I recently pulled the protector off to trade that watch in for my Galaxy Watch3 the watch looked like new. For a $6 investment you cant go wrong.
