My sumsung note3 can charge normal but when disconnected from the charging system. Latest by 1 minute, you will see the screen on(pop-up) and relise is charging by itself without being connected to a charging system till my battery run down.
Welcome to Android Central! I agree -- there might be a problem with the microUSB port. But does it really impact your battery life? Is it that the screen keeps turning on, saying that it's charging when it's not?
That may need diagnosis by a repairer.
