Is anybody having problems with text recognition through Bixby on your phone?

Hey all,

I was trying to show off my phone today, and I was extremely embarrassed. The Bixby vision option would not recognize any text in photos, and was a waste of time and totally embarrassing. It would get a fee characters correct, and the rest was nonsense. The original pixel blew it away easily - tested on the she receipt.

I hope it is just a software glitch.

Here's the photo that it couldn't handle on at capacity..

Have never even tried that what do you tell Bixby when you have a picture

In your gallery, there's a Bixby vision icon you can tap (or from a live photo view)

Did you use Bixby Vision on the screenshot? Or did you use the text extraction tool from the s pen? Also, can you tray that with the photo I have on my Original post? Thanks!

Awesome.... Now, I just wish it would recognize the address and have a link to maps. The location button won't register I'm Bixby for me. The Pixel does it automagically

It's basically Samsung's version of Google Lens... It's extracts info and stuff from photos.

If you click on the blue text it opens Maps.

Ok I got Bixby Vision up but it didn't want to be an option for the downloaded receipt of yours so Intok a photo of a menu and it seemed to work
