Is anyone else really dissappointed by the lagging?

This phone lags when displaying some web pages. Its not real bad but its there. Doesn't feel like a dual core phone when browsing the web. I'm quite dissappointed by it. Hopefully an update addresses the TINY lag.

I havent noticed any lags. Are you talking about the second or two it takes to start loading a website?

Yeah perhaps not lag but definitely not as smooth as I expected. Still loving my Sensation though.

Nope. Nothing here. I don't consider split second stutters to be "lag". If you want to see lag, try flashing Honeycomb on a G1. It's really getting annoying seeing everyone ***** about lag when there isn't any.

Agreed. Oh, if you have auto updating widgets like Friend Stream, Twitter or something like that on a home screen, of course you will get a stutter, its updating when you turn on the phone.

My apologies for not being clear enough on the lag. I don't find any lag on Sense 3.0. however, I noticed a tiny lag today while viewing this website on my phone. Could be because it has a lot of heavy content. I hope when people think of the Sensation they don't think of lag because its a really good phone. It just needs a few updates lol.

1. Open browser
2. Hit menu button
3. Tap more
4. Tap settings
5. Scroll down to where it says 'enable plugins'
6. Tap 'On demand'

Your lag should be fixed.

I am not experiencing any of the lag that I have been reading about. What are you folks doing with your phone that is so intensive? Or, are people just saying there is lag as just because of benchmark scores.

Stutter maybe during a big update but no lag here. Love my Sensation.
I'll add that I have seen some occasional lags and stuttering, but it nothing that I haven't seen on any other android handsets. (The stock G2X included)

My biggest gripe is Sense's kinetic scrolling; whatever programming scheme they have set up just isn't as smooth as stock. Its not horrible, but its definitely not as clean.

See that doesn't bother me. I'd rather go with an HTC phone then an LG phone any day. Of course, that's me, to each his own. I really am curious to see how the Sensation will run in a year, after its had a few performance updates.

This phone does stutter more than the G2x and the Infuse 4g(single core). Launcher Pro helps a little.

For me Sense 3.0 runs fine. Every phone will lag a little bit. My beef is browsing websites. Some websites just don't feel as smooth as they should on a dual core phone.

For the browser try using the DolphinHD browser, also put plugins to "On Demand". DolphinHD is much smoother for me.

Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G
