Is anyone else having a hard time using the swipe gesture for screenshots?

I feel like an idiot, and I have yet to successfully do it in the weeks I've owned this device. I've always had to resort to using the screenshot button in the menu screen. Is it just me, or can anyone else confirm that it's more specific with phone?

Ugh. I'm an idiot with non-human hands then, because mine just isn't registering. Thanks for confirming this.
I use an app called Touch the Notch and have assigned a screenshot to when I long press the camera cutout. Super handy - you can assign anything you'd like to it!

I use one handed operation and assigned a top right swipe for screenshots.

@Rose4uKY I don't know why you're quoting my 2 different replies. Are you a lawyer? Lol
I don't remember the 2nd reply (which device or thread).
For the 1st most recent reply, I was just stating mine works like it should. I don't use it bc I have the app Touch the Notch which I feel is faster and simpler. Maybe I was frustrated with palm swipe on my s23u thus the reason for the change??

I just use the edge panel. In the tasks edge panel you can edit it to have screen shot and screen record. So much easier then doing the push power button and volume up at the same time... Simple one handed.
I've not used the edge panel task setup. When you do it, does it automatically move the edge panel out of the way when you take the screenshot?

There are so many ways now to take a screenshot, I have to stop & think about which one to use...

There's a button you can add to your quick panel & I also use the spen to choose screen write & then just hit the download arrow it if I don't need to actually write on the shot.
