Is anyone returning their S6?

Will you be returning your S6?

was at my local Verizon corporate store to pay my bill yesterday afternoon.(next door to Walmart, so I always pay in person)

anyway, the manager was still there and she told me that they have had over 11 returns on the S6 and S6 edge phones so far. strangely, half of those customers exchanged them for the iPhone 6(regular) and the rest got Note 4 and old S5. she said the main complaint was batter life. for comparison, this corporate store has sold almost 100 S6 phones, so 11 returns is probably nt that bad.

At my local ATT corporate store today I saw a draw full of returns of you guessed it the S6 & S6E for...........you guessed it poor battery life. What I saw was confirmed by the store manager as well that the phone are beautiful and fast. The battery life is what will do it in though.

Great for them. It didn't work for them. Mine is still going strong after a week. No issues.

I have to return mine for Verizon. The one place where Verizon has a crappy signal happens to be where I work. I have to go back to at&t and they aren't offering any good deals on the S6 like Verizon, so I'll have to wait a while before picking one up. Of course the battery was terrible at work, always searching for a signal.

If the phone is constantly searching for a weak signal, the battery will drain far faster than in an area where the signal is strong. Sorry it hasn't worked for you on VZW.

I came from the Droid Turbo too and yes, the battery was the highlight of that phone, no doubt. I was willing to give up the laziness of never needing to manage my battery usage but I was going full out on using this awesome piece of tech for the long list of pros.

1) Screen - Self explanatory, the best on any phone I've used.

2) Fingerprint scanner - Totally useful and #1 reason for loving this phone.

3) Form factor - Sexy beast and totally for vain reasons.

4) Camera - So fast and so good.

5) Touchwiz - Not a big fan of stock Android. TW has all the features I need.

I will not return this phone, not even for the battery.

I am taking my back because of poor battery life but more importantly horrible signal strength. Look at getting iphone 6

Exactly. While I satisfied with my SoT and battery, I wish we had more positive threads on this board. I love this phone so much, I really want to talk so much about what I do like instead of constantly reading what everyone hates about it. I get it, its a forum for discussion...not saying we should atop the negative topics...but we should have an equal amount of positives.

I am doing the same, battery life is as good or slightly better than iPhone 6, at least for me.

I agree. Thanks for staring the thread. There are so many negative threads since it's so much easier to blame and complain versus cogent, concise dialogue.

If I buy a Ferrari that requires visits to the gas station every 100 miles, I'd probably
return the Ferrari as well. Perhaps exchange the Ferrari for a VW sedan with TDI
engine that can easily go 650+ miles on one tank of diesel. Although the VW will
probably help me get laid. (either by a random hot woman or my wife)

You don't buy a Ferrari for gas mileage. The Ferrari is way more smoking hot. Your car choice explains a lot and that facts don't matter and that you complain just to complain.

I was thinking the same thing, but you do realise despite it's average/poor battery the S6 has the same (if not better) battery than the iPhone 6. Iphones have never had good battery until the very expensive iPhone 6+. Nobody kicked up a storm about that.
What signal problems are you having? I can't imagine it would be isolated to the S6

It wasn't just the battery life sad to say

Yup. It's amazing that you don't hear about the sd card. I used to be one who put a 64GB card in my 16GB GS4 with very little room left after Samsung and my carrier added their bloat. Have the 64GB with 50GB plus means I don't miss it.

My S6 just went back to BB an hour ago because of poor battery life. Cell standby was the major battery eater for me. I got like 2 bars sometime and no bar most of the time at home.
Luckily the rep didn't charge me the restocking fee :)

I will definitely get it again if they fix the battery life issue.

Also sounds like a change in carrier would help. Poe signal strength can drain a battery pretty quick. Hope your next experience is better.
